Effective August 20, 2026 · English text prepared September 10, 2026.
1. Purpose and definitions
These terms set out the conditions, procedures, rights and obligations between the individual developer operating TokTokTok (the “operator”) and its users. The “service” includes the Apple Watch, iPhone and iPad apps, Mac helper, motion shop and related website. A “motion” is video content played briefly over a presentation.
2. Publication and changes
The operator publishes these terms on the service website and may amend them within applicable law. Changes and the effective date are announced at least seven days beforehand, or 30 days for changes unfavorable to users. If you do not agree, you may stop using the service and delete your account. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms, subject to applicable law.
3. Service features
- Remote control: presentation controls exchanged directly between supported watch, phone, iPad and Mac helper devices. Registration or sign-in is not required.
- Motion shop: browse, preview and download motions. Browsing and free downloads do not require sign-in. On iOS, a paid motion may be purchased as a guest; linking an Apple sign-in is optional for account-based restoration. Ratings, comments and account coupons require sign-in.
- Mac helper: a free program installed separately to control presentations on a Mac. It is distributed through the service website rather than the App Store.
4. Advertising and purchases
Remote control is available without an ad-removal purchase. Ads can appear on the iPhone at app launch and among motion shop items. They are non-personalized. Ads are not shown on the watch or over the active presentation screen.
| Ad removal | A one-time purchase permanently removes ads while the entitlement is valid. Restore the purchase using the same App Store account after changing devices or reinstalling. |
|---|---|
| Motion pass | Unlocks one selected paid motion. It is applied to that motion as part of the purchase and does not remain as a reusable balance. |
Prices are those shown by the App Store for your storefront. Payments are processed through Apple’s in-app purchase system. The operator does not receive payment-method details such as card numbers.
5. Promotional benefits
The operator may run time-limited promotions. An eligible ad-removal purchase during a promotion can provide coupons for operator-made motions within the stated eligibility tier: one per month, up to 12 in total.
- Sign-in is required to verify coupon eligibility. Coupons are not transferable.
- The app states the eligible motions, quantity, period and other conditions. Purchases after the promotion ends do not qualify.
- After an ad-removal refund, remaining coupons cannot be used. Motions already obtained with coupons are not taken back under this promotion rule.
6. Motion licenses and intellectual property
You receive a non-exclusive license to use downloaded motions for your own presentations, classes and similar uses. You may not extract motion files from the app, redistribute, resell or sublicense them. The creator holds copyright in each motion, and the operator distributes it under permission needed to provide the service. Rights in the service’s app/website design, branding and logos belong to the operator.
7. User obligations
Do not misuse the service, interfere with others, infringe rights, post unlawful content, submit knowingly false reports, bypass technical protections, or cause excessive load through automation. Verified violations may lead to content removal or restrictions. The operator will explain the reason and duration of restrictions, and you may object.
8. Reports and moderation
You may report motions or comments in the app. The operator aims to review reports within 24 hours and may remove content, request corrections or restrict use when a problem is confirmed. The reporter and content publisher are informed of the action.
9. Withdrawal and refunds
Paid-product payments and refunds follow App Store policies and procedures. Request a refund at Apple’s Report a Problem or through purchase history. The operator does not process separate payments or refunds outside the App Store.
Under Korea’s electronic commerce consumer protection law, withdrawal is generally available within seven days of purchase. Withdrawal may be restricted for the portion of digital content whose supply has begun, such as a motion already downloaded using a pass, under Article 17(2). Withdrawal may still be available for defective content or content that differs from its description. Applicable mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
You may request an ad-removal refund under App Store policy regardless of use. If refunded, ads return and unused promotional coupons become unavailable as described in Section 5.
10. Changes or discontinuation
The operator may change or discontinue parts of the service for operational or technical reasons. Discontinuation is announced 30 days in advance, and paid purchases are handled under applicable law and App Store policy. Unavoidable events such as disasters or outages may be announced afterward.
11. Accounts and deletion
You may delete your account through Settings → Support → Delete Account. Account information is deleted without delay; legally required transaction records are retained for the periods stated in Section 5 of the Privacy Policy. Paid content linked to the deleted account can no longer be restored through that account.
12. Responsibility
The operator works to provide a stable service. To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not responsible for disruptions beyond its control, including disasters, network failures and user-device or OS problems; the contents posted by users; or outcomes users hoped to obtain. This does not exclude liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence and must not be interpreted unfairly against consumers.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are interpreted under the laws of the Republic of Korea. The operator and user should first seek to resolve disputes through discussion. If unresolved, a claim may be brought before the court with jurisdiction under applicable civil procedure law. Consumers may also seek assistance from consumer or electronic-commerce dispute mediation bodies.
